Gold, silver, and mining stocks finally got an oversold bounce today after being drilled for almost the entire month. The charts below show the downtrend channels in silver and the junior mining index GDXJ. Notice how a gap exists right at downtrend resistance. That will be an important battleground between bulls and bears to maintain or reverse the current trend downward.
